Guy Cherkesky is the President of Taskquatch Task Force, Inc. and Co-Founder of Taskquatch, a hyperlocal marketplace designed to help neighbors solve everyday problems quickly and safely. Based in the Nashville metropolitan area, Guy brings over two decades of diverse tech experience across software engineering, operations, infrastructure, and marketplace systems to his nonprofit leadership.
Professionally, Guy has led product development and engineering efforts at both startups and large organizations. Prior to founding Taskquatch, he worked as a Senior Software Developer at Comcast, where he built and maintained large-scale data and infrastructure systems. His background spans backend systems, cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and user-focused product design.
At Taskquatch Task Force, Guy applies this operational and technical background to ensure the nonprofit runs efficiently, transparently, and at low cost, allowing more resources to go directly toward community impact. As President, he oversees organizational strategy, partnerships, compliance, and fundraising, with a strong focus on accountability and measurable outcomes.
Itay Cherkesky
Vice President, Taskquatch Task Force, Inc.
Itay Cherkesky is the Vice President of Taskquatch Task Force, Inc. and Co-Founder of Taskquatch. Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, Itay brings more than fifteen years of experience building organizations, operational systems, and marketplaces from the ground up.
As Co-Founder of Taskquatch, Itay is responsible for shaping the platform's overall strategy, operational architecture, and community growth model. He has led strategy, operations, and business development across multiple industries, transforming early-stage complexity into disciplined, scalable systems that prioritize trust, reliability, and strong user experience.
Previously, Itay served as a strategic marketing consultant for Delek US Holdings, where he built the company's marketing and internal communications functions from scratch. He also founded and scaled Cherkesky Hospitality, a Nashville-based short-term rental management company overseeing more than 20 properties.
At Taskquatch Task Force, Itay applies this operational and strategic background to ensure the nonprofit's programs are structured responsibly, operate efficiently, and remain aligned with the organization's charitable mission.
Thomas Ritter
Secretary, Taskquatch Task Force, Inc.
Thomas Ritter is a husband, father, and dedicated technology attorney based in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2024, he co-founded Ritter Gallagher P.C., a Nashville-based law firm focused on cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology risk, where he advises organizations on navigating complex regulatory and security challenges in an increasingly digital world.
A proud graduate of the University of Tennessee, Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2012 and his Juris Doctor in 2015. His legal background, combined with his experience advising technology-driven organizations, brings valuable governance, compliance, and risk-management insight to the Taskquatch Task Force.
As a native Nashvillian, Thomas is deeply committed to strengthening local communities and supporting initiatives rooted in inclusiveness, solidarity, and mutual respect. Serving on the Board of Taskquatch Task Force represents one of the most meaningful milestones of his professional journey, allowing him to apply his legal expertise in service of the organization's mission.
As Secretary of the organization, Thomas oversees corporate records, governance documentation, and board processes.
Tom Beeri
Treasurer, Taskquatch Task Force, Inc.
Tom Beeri serves as Treasurer of Taskquatch Task Force, Inc., bringing deep experience in business operations, technology transformation, and financial oversight. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Tom has worked across a wide range of industries including technology startups, financial institutions, government organizations, and retail and wholesale companies.
Professionally, Tom has built a career helping organizations plan and execute complex operational and technology initiatives. His background spans business strategy, process optimization, systems implementation, and cross-functional transformation, with a consistent focus on improving efficiency, accountability, and long-term sustainability. He has partnered with executive leadership teams to translate strategy into measurable operational outcomes.
As Treasurer, Tom is responsible for overseeing the nonprofit's financial governance, budgeting, and reporting. He works closely with the board to ensure that donations and resources are managed responsibly, transparently, and in alignment with the organization's charitable mission, helping ensure that the maximum possible resources are directed toward community impact.
Tony McLarty
Director, Taskquatch Task Force, Inc.
Tony McLarty serves as a Director of Taskquatch Task Force, Inc. and brings more than two decades of experience in corporate community relations, nonprofit leadership, and financial stewardship. Based in Franklin, Tennessee, Tony is retired from Delek US Holdings, Inc., where he previously led Community Relations and played a central role in building long-term partnerships between Delek and nonprofit organizations across the region.
During his tenure at Delek, Tony was deeply involved in Project Extended Leadership, an initiative that encouraged senior executives to serve on nonprofit boards and provided financial support to strengthen governance and organizational impact. He also worked closely with The Delek Fund for Hope, supporting nonprofits through both direct funding and leadership engagement.
Tony holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Mississippi State University and brings a strong financial and governance perspective to the Taskquatch Task Force board. As a Director, he contributes strategic insight, nonprofit best practices, and a deep understanding of corporate philanthropy, helping ensure the organization operates with transparency, accountability, and measurable community impact.
